Subscribed! Christmas is special because it means taking the time out of our hectic lives to spend with family and friends. Whether it's just stopping by to have a glass of wine, or our large Christmas feast, I just love catching up with people I normally don't see throughout the year.
ReplyDeleteChristmas is so awesome to me because I get to watch my kids' faces light up when Santa comes! It's like extra special bonding time during the holidays.

I've spent many years living far from them, and many of those years, Christmas was the only time I would see them. It holds a very deep place in my heart for that reason!

ReplyDeleteThe best part about Christmas to me {besides all the yummy food and warm drinks} is just spending time with family.
This Christmas of all Christmases is special to me because this is actually the first year without my brother. He passed away April 16 this year. I actually have not had any Christmas spirit since my Grandmother passed in 99. From then on, everything changed. We had Christmas with her every year and I loved the big family get togethers with everyone. I had always loved the magic of Christmas, and since having my daughter (she's 4) I have been brought back to the Christmas spirit. Seeing the wonder and magic in her eyes and her spirit is just amazing. It really is indescribable to me. I am happy to be making new, special memories for my child and my family, as I bring everyone together this year.

ReplyDeleteChristmas is special to me because now i get to see it through my son's eyes. every morning he gets up and runs to the tree going "ights! ights!!" and then we count to three and i plug in the lights and his face gets so happy, like it's magic. it's so much fun :)
I actually really love finding the perfect gift for people. I love it when it ends up being just right and it's something they love and use often

I like Christmas for the presents. HAH! Seriously I do, but the best part is having all 4 of my sisters hanging out being crazy together. It makes me so happy to be under my parents roof for a few days and to feel so much love.
